About the Role
As our work continues to grow, we are seeking a temporary freelance Project Manager or Project Coordinator to support active client projects and events over the next few months.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional who enjoys bringing structure to creative work and keeping projects moving forward. You should have hands-on experience managing timelines, coordinating deliverables, and working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage multiple client projects simultaneously

• Build and maintain timelines and task trackers

• Coordinate communication between team members and clients

• Schedule internal and client meetings

• Prepare and distribute clear meeting notes with action items

• Maintain documentation within project management tools

• Support event planning and execution, including:

  • Creating and managing event timelines

  • Coordinating vendors and partners

  • Tracking logistics and deliverables

  • Assisting with on-site or day-of coordination as needed

• Proactively follow up to ensure deadlines are met

Ideal Candidate

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• 1–3 years of project coordination, project management, or event coordination experience

• Experience using tools such as Asana, Wrike, ClickUp, Monday, or similar platforms

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Clear, professional written communication

• Reliability, follow-through, and sound judgment

• Enthusiastic, collaborative, and easy to work with

• Experience in a marketing, communications, agency, or event environment is a plus.

Engagement

• Temporary freelance contract

• Estimated hours: TBD

• Duration: 6 to 12 months

• Hourly compensation based on experience

MCA is a remote company with headquarters in Tacoma, WA. While this is a remote position, we prefer candidates based in the Washington/Oregon area for occasional in-person meetings and local market insight.
