About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Freelance Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team! This entry-level freelance role will primarily focus on supporting our clients' social media presence, creating engaging content (especially short-form video), and helping drive community engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and schedule organic social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).

  • Capture and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories).

  • Assist with community management: respond to comments, DMs, and engage with followers.

  • Collaborate with the Content Team on monthly calendars and campaign planning.

  • Monitor social media trends and propose creative new ideas.

  • Track basic engagement analytics and create monthly performance reports.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn best practices

  • Basic video shooting and editing skills (mobile editing apps or platforms like CapCut, Canva, or InShot)

  • Creative thinker who can come up with fun, engaging content ideas

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working remotely

  • Bonus: Experience using scheduling tools (Loomly, Hootsuite, Sprout)

Compensation: DOE, with growth potential.

Estimated Hours: 5–10 hours/week to start, with growth potential.

MCA is a remote company with headquarters in Tacoma, WA. While this is a remote position, we prefer candidates based in the Washington/Oregon area for occasional in-person meetings and local market insight.
